Richard Ross

I've been writing about drinks - mostly wine - for more than 20 years, and I love talking about tea. There are so many exciting parallels between wine and tea - through production, culture and tasting - so you may see me chatting about wine as well on here.

Me and Tea

I run tea tastings and events, talking about the whole world of tea, and also Scotland's big historical place in the history of tea cultivation and the development of many of the world's leading tea regions. As well as that, I'm now also a tea grower - cultivating camellia sinensis here in Scotland, and I'm Chairman of Tea Scotland - the association of Scottish Tea Producers.
